This just in: Barbara Walters to undergo heart surgery

Barbara Walters will have heart surgery this week, she announced Monday. The "View" host, 80, said doctors will replace a faulty valve, then she'll take a few months off to recuperate. "I have known of this condition for a while now and my doctors and I have decided that this is the best time to do the surgery," she said. "Since the summer is coming up, I can take a nice vacation."
