This just in: Lindsay Lohan faces possible arrest

Lindsay Lohan. (AP)

Lindsay Lohan is facing possible arrest if she doesn't appear in a Los Angeles court Thursday for a probation hearing, reports Reuters. The starlet, whose troubles now stretch back longer than her career, has a mandatory appearance at which the court will see whether she's been following the terms of her 2007 drunken driving arrest. But her mother has told reporters that the 23-year-old is stranded in France, after her passport was stolen at the Cannes Film Festival. Rich people's troubles...

Can't get out of France in time? Puhleeeese!!!!

My wife and I were in country for our honeymoon, and she was pickpocketed. In a short matter of time, we had been to the local police station to retrieve the police report, ran to the US Embassy to find out what we needed, and then managed to find a 1-hour photo lab for new passport photos. We were finally given a replacement passport in about 3 hours.

And this was on a Saturday!!!

The judge would look like a fool if she didn't do something about Lindsay Lohan.

Stranded or not, legitimate excuse or not, in a showdown of power between Lindsay Lohan and her judge, the judge wins automatically. The judge wants immediate compliance, not procrastination. When the judge orders, "Lindsay, show up in court," Lindsay, show up in court; else, incarceration. If Lindsay doesn't fully appreciate that, she needs far more than chemical dependency counseling, she needs reality counseling.

It only takes one day to get a new passport, so a one-day continuance should cover it.

even if she does get back on thursday, she still hasn't completed her court ordered drug/alcohol classes. so she is already in contempt and faces jail time.

What a crock....she was probably too loaded to get to the airport and dropped the passport in the toilet, which is about where she's headed.....

She needs a good spanking. Too bad this wasn't done about a decade ago.

Dony worry, she will appear in court (this time with lost panties) and grab all the attention. Thanks to media and insane judges.

Meanwhile why not try arresting Bin laden?
