This just in: Sarah Palin gets a new neighbor; David Byrne sues Charlie Crist

  • Author Joe McGinniss knows how to immerse himself in his research: He has rented the Wasilla, Alaska, house next to Sarah Palin, subject of his forthcoming book. This is according to Palin, who posted the news Tuesday on Facebook. She blasted his work as biased but mostly poured on the sweet sarcasm: "We're sure to have a doozey to look forward to ... Wonder what kind of material he'll gather while overlooking Piper's bedroom, my little garden, and the family's swimming hole? ... Come borrow a cup of sugar if ever you need some sweetener." We couldn't reach McGinniss; his publishing house, Broadway Books, told AP he "will be highly respectful of his subject's privacy as he investigates her public activities."

  • David Byrne sued Florida Gov. Charlie Crist on Monday for allegedly using his song "Road to Nowhere" in a campaign ad for his Senate race without permission, Reuters reports. It's the latest in a series of pop-pol disputes; Jackson Browne's suit against John McCain and the RNC for using "Running on Empty" was settled for an undisclosed amount.

Legendary Journalist? DUH! More like a washed up hack-writer given a taste of dirty money by AK politicians French and Hawker last year, to fabricate an attack on then Governor Palin, with the intention to give BOTH of those hack-legislators an otherwise invisible presence in the AK political spectrum as they imagined to lay ground for a run at Governor of AK. PA...THET...ICK!

Once the old fool got his first taste of coin since the '70s, and was finally able to go to the grocery-store for the first time in 40 years without having to count his pennies, he just could not go back to his standard poverty. Palin's name being the rainson d'etre for thousands of today's "journalists", he promised another hit piece if his promoters would pay room and board next door to the Palin's, but only in the SUMMER months, as the AK winter will put an end to the pathetic nervous-twitching he calls his "life".

Hmmm...McGinnes, McGinnes, Mc...oh yeah, the left-over-from-the-'60s " journalist" who wrote a hit piece on Sarah, meant to bump up the poll-numbers for French and Hawker, two more pretenders to her throne? I guess that joker got another taste of dirty cash after all these years and he couldn't let go, so he decided to send gossip pieces to the Nat. Enq. or what? Peeping-tom will GET you thrown in the pokey...even in Alaska you cheep stooge!

This guy has shown up at a Florida campaign rally, at her front door, bid over $60,000.00 to have dinner with her, and now this. Only our media would feel stalking is ok, as long as its Gov. Palin.
Is there one female reporter who will have the courage to take a stand against this behavior?

This is just stalking and the Palins need to fear for their children, especially Piper. This guy is a weird creep. Who does something like this?
