Quoted: Richard Burton's love letters to Elizabeth Taylor

"You must know, of course, how much I love you. You must know, of course, how badly I treat you."
-- Richard Burton to Elizabeth Taylor, from a letter in the new issue of Vanity Fair. The actress gave the magazine Burton's letters chronicling their passionate love affair and marriages. (That stuff just wouldn't sound quite the same in a tweet, would it?) "We were always madly and powerfully in love," Taylor said.
