Denmark's Crown Prince and NBA star bond over bikes

An unlikely duo: Denmark's Crown Prince Frederik André Henrik Christian and former Washington Wizard Caron Butler. The prince and the NBA star teamed up Monday to promote cycling -- a third of Danish citizens bike to work every day.

"Man, he's cool," Butler told our colleague Dan Steinberg. "He's unbelievable. Just kicking it with him right now. We call it parlaying; that's all we're doing, me and the prince."

The two bonded over bikes: Butler, traded to Dallas but here during offseason, has donated 2,500 bicycles to children since his cousin's bike was stolen and is now a serious bike guy. The prince and Crown Princess Mary just ended a five-day trip to Washington to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the embassy; they visited Meridian International Center, the National Gallery of Art, Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Arlington National Cemetery.
