Love Etc.: Martina Navratilova, Anne Hathaway, Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi

  • Settled: Martina Navratilova and her ex, Toni Layton, who sued the tennis champ for palimony, saying Navratilova abruptly dumped her after eight years together. After a two-year battle and Layton's threats to blab about their private life, they reached an out-of-court deal, Layton's lawyer told the New York Post, which estimated the settlement at $3.million.
  • Unloading: Anne Hathaway, who has opted not to buy back the jewels that her swindler ex, Raffaello Follieri, gave her -- and which she was compelled to hand over to the feds after his arrest. The New York Post reports that the actress was given first dibs on them but is passing; the feds will soon auction the items, including a $25K gold Rolex.
  • Split: Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi, the latest couple to get engaged via "The Bachelor," after four publicity-happy months together, and we're beginning to think reality TV might not be the best way to meet someone.
