Love etc.: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. files for divorce

Splitting up: Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who quietly filed papers May.12 in Westchester County, N.Y., to divorce his wife, Mary Richardson Kennedy, the local Journal News reported Tuesday. His filing came days before she was charged with driving drunk in Bedford, N.Y. Kennedy -- an environmentalist and son of the late senator -- declined to comment to the paper; his office did not reply to our e-mails. Married since 1994, they have four children; he has two from a previous marriage.

The environmentalist who wants to fight global warming but can't deal with wind power 5 miles off the coast of Cape Cod? Yes, that hypocrite.

Poor woman. What is it about Kennedy men that drives their wives to drink? I wish the best for her and their children.

somberjules, there's more to this story than you know. He left her after multiple attempts to help her get sober. She's a danger to her kids and to herself. Not every Kennedy man is a monster.

LilyBell you didn't answersomberjules question. The question was what causes women who are married to Kennedy men to drink? Did she have a drinking problem before and if so why did he marry her? Did she develop the problem after they were married and he tried to help?

FYI - I'm a Kennedy fan (Teddy, Bobby & John, Ethel - I'm that old :)) I thought it was an odd question to ask and for someone tried to defend but did not really answer the question.

I'm doing light reading today:)
