Update: Ted Kennedy's D.C. mansion now publicly listed
After being quietly offered to sellers for several months, Ted Kennedy's 1926 Kalorama mansion is now publicly listed, at $8.million. We reported last fall that the late senator's widow, Vicki, was ready to downsize: Their 9,000-square-foot home of more than a decade has six bedrooms and a pool. The TTR Sotheby's listing only hints at its pedigree (also once home to Cold War strategist Paul Nitze): "Whether dinners for national and international dignitaries, fund-raising receptions or family gatherings, many special people have graced this elegant residence."
