This just in...: Mel Gibson under investigation for domestic violence charges

Mel Gibson is being investigated for domestic violence charges, the L.A. sheriff said Thursday. Detectives are looking into a January incident in which he is suspected of punching ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva. The two are battling for custody of their 8-month-old daughter; she filed a restraining order against the movie star two weeks ago. Reps for the actor did not return calls for comment, AP reported.
