This just in...: Obama not attending Chelsea's wedding

President Obama will not be attending Chelsea Clinton's wedding. (AP/Charles Sykes)

President Obama does not plan to attend Chelsea Clinton's wedding at the end of this month, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said Wednesday. With speculation about the date, location and guest list heating up, the only confirmed intel are names not attending the ceremony: Obama, Al and Tipper Gore. But sounds like the oft-floated date for the nups -- Sat. July 31 -- might be a serious ..... maybe.

So lovely that Chelsea is marrying the son of a convicted felon and ex-convict and the media is so excited. Since this is the second man little Chelsea has lived with, what is all the fuss about? The usual sickening display by the grifter couple and their celeb friends. Much ado about nothing.

Chelsea is lucky that Obama and the Gores are staying away - who needs those media hogs to upstage the bride and groom. Not a big fan of the Clintons but hey - it's a wedding - leave the politics at home.

Not attending? Or not invited? Clarify, please, if you have the answer. I can't see not inviting the Obamas, but I can see not inviting Al and Tipper Gore for three reasons: 1) During his failed run for president, he dissed Clinton, whose help he could have used. 2) Tipper and Al are getting divorced. Why bring that bad karma to Chelsea's wedding. 3) Al Gore's got that ugly massage therapist accusation hanging over his head.
