The undisclosed location for the revamped Michelle Rhee-Kevin Johnson wedding won't be in his home town. "It won't happen in Sacramento," Johnson said in a radio interview Wednesday. "We haven't decided when and where." An editorial in the Sacramento Bee gave Johnson thumbs-up for canceling the wedding dinner at the estate of wealthy developer Angelo Tsakopoulos: "No matter how careful the mayor was, he would almost certainly face decisions that could affect the business interests and bottom line of Tsakopoulos. ... Johnson promised a new politics, but the reception looked a lot like business as usual at City Hall."

Johnson's office did issue a statement saying that a decision has yet to be made as to whether or not to inform Ms. Rhee of the undisclosed location. The Mayor's spokesperson did confirm that Ms. Rhee has been informed that Johnson will not be in Sacramento on the dates in question and that his whereabouts may remain unknown.
With her political champion only days from losing the democratic mayoralty primary in DC Ms. Rhee is also reportedly having former schoolteachers pack up her office.
She has throughout this marital debacle managed to retain that sh't eating grin she has affected thorughout her tenure in Washington.
