It would have been better Elizabeth if you had come around a little sooner; because the result has been those of us in the lower and middle class have lost our champion, John Edwards.
Well, better, late than never.

Mrs. Edwards - what Emily Post North Carolinian definition of your husband's fifth child are you in denial about? You ARE in essence the step mother of your husband's out of wedlock child - a very real child that is all of your children's half sister forevermore.
You refused to "own" the word CHILD of your HUSBAND in previous interviews. It is long past time for you to do so. Seeing how you choose to remain married to the father of all of his and your children, and all.
All in all - sounds like you are still pretty much North Carolinian perfect world (it was supposed to be because SHE is so perfect and deserving) not honoring or owning any of it. Shame on you. Four children who are blood related deserve you acting like a full grown adult and OWNING IT ALL. Your step child. Their sister. His child. Thems the fact. Today.
