Surreal estate: "Real Housewife" Mary Amons puts home on the market

Mary Amons and fellow "Real Housewives of D.C." cast member Paul Wharton last year. (Stephen J. Boitano/Bravo)

Sellers: Rich and Mary Amons
Asking price: $2.35 million
Details: Finally, you, too, can live like one of the "Real Housewives of D.C."! The stars of the new Bravo series -- they're the ones with the five kids and the big Bernese-mastiff mix -- are selling their McLean mini-mansion home of 16 years. No solid plans yet, but they're looking to move within the region. The 5,450-square-foot modern colonial has six bedrooms, 5 1/2 baths, three fireplaces, a four-car garage. Unclear if Mary's as-seen-on-TV biometric closet-door lock (to keep the girls from borrowing mom's clothes!) conveys with the property.

I see Real House Wives DC is the first to feature a bona fide drag queen. That is appropriate as DC has a long tradition of supporting the drag demim monde. Paul Wharton deserves an "Academy Award", perhaps Queen of the Zodiac.

With all the botox, hair rpoducts and the implants one can't really get a sense of what she really looks like but the affect is "dragocious" that is for sure.

Does fellow "real" housewife Stacie Turner have the listing?

Mary looked a lot hotter on the pic that made me click through.

At least she is selling her home...and not heading into foreclosure. A fried recommend a site to me today that has all the housewives news from all over the web in one place (this is how I found this story). Check it out...its addicting. http://www.thehousewives.com/

No Stacie did not get the listing. She claims to do 25-30 million a year truth is she hasn't done that much her entire career. I don't understand why a realtor would lie we can look their numbers up in the MLS. The only sale she had this year was $500,000 she wouldn't know how to sell a home for 2.3
