After a nice, long Labor Day weekend Reliable Source is back and will resume publication tomorrow morning. Until then, here's a few highlights from today's Names & Faces column:
-Joe McGinniss--who rankled Tea Party-types by moving in next-door to Sarah Palin's home in Wasilla, Alaska, while conducting research for a book about her--is heading home to Massachusetts.
-A judge in the Bahamas has dismissed charges against two people accused of extorting money from John Travolta over the death of his 16-year-old son, Jett.
-Model and former Mick Jagger-fling Jerry Hall plans to auction some of her art collection next month, including a famous portrait by Lucian Freud that shows her nude when she was eight months pregnant.
-Shrugging off her recent Las Vegas cocaine arrest: Paris Hilton on the Hawaiian island of Maui buying $700 worth of groceries, RadarOnline.com reports.
