  • Born: Twins to Céline Dion, 42, and husband René Angélil, 68, on Saturday in West Palm Beach, Fla. The pop diva announced in May that she was pregnant after several in vitro fertilization attempts and gave birth to fraternal boys, who were born healthy but a month early, reports the Associated Press. No names yet; the twins join big brother René-Charles, 9.

  • Married: Russell Brand and Katy Perry on Saturday at a luxury resort in northern India. The British comedian, 35, and American singer, 26, tied the knot after a three-day extravaganza (Bollywood-theme party, safaris, Indian wedding procession, two elephants) for family and close friends, reports People.
