"Being rich and famous is hard, but being poor and famous is hell."

-- Dee Snider, former frontman of Twisted Sister, telling the New York Times about the many lean years (answering phones, helping in his wife's hair salon, reality TV) that followed his brief 1980s career as a million-selling glam-rock star. He currently has a guest role in Broadway's "Rock of Ages."
