Wilson in 2008 (Phil Coale/AP)
Meet Frederica Wilson -- the Lady Gaga of electoral politics. (Says her hatmaker.) The newly elected congresswoman from Florida showed up to orientation in a red suit and matching cowboy hat worthy of a Grand Ole Opry Christmas special -- and she's got a lot more of that where it came from. (Photos!) But she'll have to lose her headdresses, reports our colleague Robin Givhan, when she reaches the House floor: No hats allowed.
Also: Are you a controversial journalist who's lost your job? Have you sparred with liberals? Well, Fox is hiring. With the recent moves of Don Imus, Juan Williams, Lou Dobbs and now Doug McKelway, Paul Farhi spots a trend.
