  • Everyone has to take their turn -- and so did Joe Biden, at jury duty in Wilmington, Del., Monday. The veep showed up with about 100 other Delawareans to the New Castle County Courthouse but was dismissed around midday without being called onto a panel, reports the News Journal.

  • Washington author (and occasional Post contributor) Louis Bayard's "The Pale Blue Eye" is headed to the big screen. TheWrap.com reports that "Crazy Heart" filmmaker Scott Cooper has been tapped to write and direct an adaptation for Fox 2000 Pictures of the historical novel about Edgar Alan Poe as a West Point cadet.
