Read This: Barbara Mikulski's milestone, Robert Gibbs, House freshmen to watch

Barbara Mikulski tangos with Doug Duncan in 2008. (Rebecca D'Angelo/FTWP )
After 24 years, Maryland sparkplug Barbara Mikulski is now the longest-serving woman in the U.S. Senate. More interesting trivia from Ben Pershing: When elected in 1986, "she was the first female Democrat to serve in both chambers of Congress and the first female Democrat to be elected to the Senate without succeeding her husband or father." No idea if the party she's having tonight will be as fun as the one in this photo.
Also: Robert Gibbs -- outta here. The press secretary might set up his own consulting shop and/or work on the 2012 race.
Don't you just love "People to Watch" lists? Here's a delicious photo gallery of House Freshmen to Watch. There's also a list of "Staffers to Watch," but unfortunately, no photos.
