This just in...: Ted Williams's very busy week

Ted Williams, the homeless man who became a media sensation last week because of his honeyed voice and poignant story, was briefly detained by cops after he got into a fight with his daughter at an L.A. hotel. Authorities told the AP that the two were investigated but not charged after their loud argument prompted a police call. Busy week for the 53-year-old: After the Columbus Dispatch wrote about him and his life struggles, Williams was offered a slew of voiceover work and made the rounds of TV shows; he and his daughter were in L.A. to appear on "Dr. Phil" and "Entertainment Tonight." Lesson: Never let anyone write a heartwarming story about you.
