"I got so caught up in the moment of the song that I lost my place."
-- Christina Aguilera explaining how she botched the National Anthem lyrics (by forgetting the "o'er the ramparts line") at the Super Bowl. But darn it, she kept going! In the statement released by her reps, the pop star added, "I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through."
