  • On Friday, the Carter Center held its annual Winter Weekend benefit auction, offering a host of Jimmy Carter-related ephemera. Among the big-ticket items: an original painting by the 39th president, which sold for $150K, and a "Fly Fishing Fantasy" weekend in the North Georgia mountains, which fetched $70K. The trip comes complete with face time with the man himself -- Jimmy and Rosalynn will join guests for cocktails and lunch during two-day trip.
