Michaele Salahi confirmed for VH1's "Celebrity Rehab," but without Tareq

By The Reliable Source

UPDATED 2/9: Whoa! Michaele's already off the show

It's official: Michaele Salahi is a bona-fide "celebrity." At least that's the ruling from VH1, which has confirmed that the Virginia polo scenester turned "Real Housewife" (with an uninvited stop at the White House in between) will do a turn on the next season of "Celebrity Rehab." However, officials on Monday denied pervasive blog buzz that her husband Tareq will join her on the bleak reality show, which chronicles the travails of damaged C-listers trying to beat addictions. What is Salahi addicted to? The network rep declined to comment, citing "confidentiality reasons" while the stars are in treatment -- even though this will ostensibly be hashed out in lurid detail once the show airs. Tareq this week insisted to a TMZ videorazzo that his wife isn't addicted to anything, except love and chocolate.

The Salahis continue to self-promote and have formed a company Salahi Entertainment according to their "Press Release" and "Breaking News": http://www.icontact-archive.com/rfr7_JsIzQCgKC7ge5mVZSLjYr8Kn0Lv?w=1

We have captured the websites: http://salahientertainment.com and http://salahientertainment.net

Mr. Salahi won't be too happy when he sees where those URLs take him.

xOffender: That is almost as funny as Tareq's actual press release.

Nicely done!

This rehab thing is rather amazing, no? Surely this is the first time in 8 years or so that MS has flown solo without T at her side. God only knows what will come out of her mouth after a couple of weeks in that 24/7 hot house.

But if I hadn't already sensed that this could be big, the fact that WaPo allowed the Reliable Sources ladies to type the letters "Salahi" would have clued me in immediately...

It has amazed me how some have thought that Michaele Salahi was some how hot and worthy of posing in Playboy. I've always thought she was an aging party girl who is trying to hang on to her glory days by wearing hooker dresses, tons of makeup, bleach blonde extensions and saying things like "rockin" and "keepin it real." Then I saw a picture of Tareq and Michaele together (Michaele is never seen without him)and I noticed that he is so disgusting that anything looks good next to him. That nose, that hair, the purple bags under the eyes, the multiple chins, the jagged teeth, and the portly physique. Maybe a little time away from Tareq and Michaele will start to see what real men look like!!
Here is the 'IT' couple: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Iifbr8WHZvQ/TVN7knVvW4I/AAAAAAAAAIU/P-BFqlXZIaQ/s1600/Salahi_ItCouple.jpg

xO: Did Tareq break your funny links? The salahientertainment ones no longer redirect. I guess he's more clever than he looks.

I'm actually more intrigued by how *he* will handle flying solo without Michaele after so many years of co-dependency. Too bad they don't have the cameras on him 24/7 right now.

Supposedly he's staying in Michael Lohan's place in Santa Monica for the shoot. Can it get any weirder?

Maybe her addiction is marrying a chunky troll who has visions of grandiosity, a flair for wearing out dated blazers and telling tall tales. But then again maybe her addiction is "bad taste" which would be a lot more encompassing...

PS- I'm still expecting them to "show up" at the royal wedding. God the fun the nomadic couple could have there!!

The White House Cracksters about to revisit their White House debacle. This time via Celebrity Rehab. Michaele is there to recover from the terrible abuse she suffered by those bullies in the White House and Congress! Yes, this delusional couple want to return to the extreme comtempt and ridicule they faced the first time, because Salahis are desperate for ANY publicity. Sadly, these two pea-brains are too dumb to comprehend what the results of this latest shenanigan will be. From the frying pan into the fire! Truth be told...they should be more concerned (and stressed) about the ongoing investigation of their charity by the State of Virginia and the IRS. Wondering when the US marshalls show up at your door with warrants, now that's stress.

Truthsayer:

I wish that were true, about impending prosecutions. But I fear they're going to get a pass, even for the charity fraud.

This Celeb Rehab move will probably turn out to be a smart call for Michaele. The last embers of their infamy were slowly dying out. I imagine Tareq was totally against her doing it, so that alone makes it interesting to me.

Last night Michael Lohan answered my rhetorical question above by throwing Tareq out of his apartment for non-payment and accusing him of not really loving Michaele because he's (Tareq) apparently trying to talk her into leaving the rehab.

It's a voyeur freak-fest!

WHY ISN'T SHE IN A FEDERAL PRISON???

Wow. Maybe VH1 needs to send themselves to rehab for not being able to distinguish between a celebrity and a wannabe.

I think you meant "FWT" instead of wannabe.

But, the addiction appears to be that she connot stop telling those lies. VH1, the joke is on you, that "thing" IS NOT a celebrity.

Come on, we all know she and her husband are both addicted to PUBLICITY.

The "shocking muscle photos" advertisement with the huge muscle guy is more credible than either of the Salahi's.

Hilarious - how much do you want to bet that this "addiction" that requires "rehab" is a fabrication in and of itself. Too bad that her addiction is not to sex as then she would be too physcially engaged to pursue her endless need for media attention. Perhaps it is an addiction to the need to be addicted, or an addiction to media attention, or compulsive lying, or an addiction to bilking others out of their hard earned cash, or perhaps an addiction to defending lawsuits (initiated by those whome they have bilked). Talk about enabling - VH1 is right up there - do they have plans in the works for Charlie Sheen?

Posted by: fwillyhess | March 8, 2011 6:37 PM | Report abuse

Well, if, as many of us suspect, her addiction involves starring in reality programming for publicity, this was not a good move.

Roxanne and Amy: Please, I repeat, please do something with your hair. Both of you. Please. It's God awful in that picture - Roxanne as a bulimic Elvira and Amy with her bed hair. Eee-gads...

I thought the show is called "Celebrity" rehab? She is known for being a major wannabe/poser crashing a presidential event with her pathetic loser of a husband and that was enough to get her on "real" housewives of DC and now apparently that "stellar" resume qualifies her as a bonafide celebrity? Hilariously pathetic

TMZ is reporting that she has been kicked off because, in a shocking turn of events, she does not, in fact, have an addiction (well, that Dr. Drew can take care of anyway).
