Nevada Tea Party purge is bearing fruit
Chris Cillizza reports that new polling shows Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) lagging in a three-way race for his seat. Much-discussed Tea Party candidate Jon Scott Ashjian -- he registered that official party name this year -- is down to 5 percent support, giving Reid less room for error against his Republican foes. And that's exactly what local tea party groups have been shooting for, blasting Ashjian across the airwaves, calling him a fraud. Ashjian once polled as high as 18 percent.
