Most confusing ad of the day

I don't normally link to Web videos that are designed less to be shown to voters and more to be, well, linked by people like me. But this new video from the National Republican Senatorial Committee is fascinating.

After watching an ad, you like to be able to say something like, "Ah, I get it." I couldn't do that with this one. There's no connectivity between the targeted senators' supposed hypocrisy and their actions. There would be if, say, we got an argument about how financial reform legislation is a back-door rescue package for the banks and Wall Street firms that had donated to Democrats. But that argument isn't working nationally, and it isn't made here.
