A sexy day at the NRSC

Earlier today, the National Republican Senatorial Committee welcomed Ohio Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher (D) into that state's U.S. Senate race with a delightfully weird video laced with footage of a shirtless Fisher in his study. (The footage was from a documentary about the 2004 election in Ohio.) And later, the committee blasted out a press release on Sen. Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.) informing reporters that "just days after blurting out to a group of Nevada constituents that he is 'not opposed to sex' embattled Senate Democrat Leader Harry Reid bizarrely accused Senate Republicans in Washington today of “making love to Wall Street.” The headline -- best of any press release I got today -- was "NRSC Implores Reid To Get Mind Off Sex, Focus On Nevada's Economy."

That's quite a lot of skin for a party committee, isn't it?

"You can’t make this stuff up," said NRSC spokesman Brian Walsh. "We’re simply highlighting Reid’s own words and a picture from a video that Fisher helped produce and participate in. The question is, what exactly is going on with the Democrats these days?"
