Vote! For! A! Patriot!

This unofficial video for Tim Burns, the GOP's candidate in the special election to replace the late Rep. John Murtha (D-Pa.), is a nice example of what happens naturally when a candidate convinces conservatives he's part of the tea party movement. In short: total adulation. (Another through line between the Ron Paul campaign and the tea party movement -- Paul fans mastered the art of the ultra-dramatic web video.)

Burns, unlike previous movement hero Scott Brown (who makes a cameo in the ad), is looking for votes in a very conservative area -- if elected, he'll be less likely to take some of the drama out of stuff like this by casting compromise votes with Democrats.
