White House takes political pointers from Dukakis
Things even worse for the Democrats than you thought. The White House is now taking election advice from Mike Dukakis.
The Boston Globe reports that the 1988 Democratic presidential nominee recently visited the White House and "delivered his strategy for the midterm elections."
Soon vulnerable Democrats across the nation will be photographed wearing combat helmets.

In politics, a rising tide lifts all boats -- even those that aren't seaworthy.
In Colorado, the Denver Post found out that several candidates for the state legislature had criminal records. Among them is Republican Tom Janich, who has been arrested five times. Explained Janich: "Heck, if everyone in Adams County who ever drank one too many or smoked a joint would vote for me, I'd win in a landslide."

Public service message from Fox News: Don't vote.
"Are some Americans simply too dumb to vote?" Bill O'Reilly asked this week.
The answer, from John Stossel, was in the affirmative. "Young people often don't know anything," he explained. This is evidenced by the fact that they tend to vote for Democrats.
"I'm not going to cheer them on," Stossel said. "Let's stop saying everyone should vote....We don't want everyone doing brain surgery."

Mr. Milbank -
It has been more than 24 hours since I notified your colleague, Ms. Petri, in the comments section of her recent O'Keefe/CNN Sex Boat story on this blog, of her blatantly inaccurate "reporting" on the O'Keefe/ACORN matter.
As well, she has been notified directly via email and multiple times via Twitter (as have you), yet you have failed to issue a correction.
While I appreciate that the posting was hers, rather than yours, I also run a blog with my name on it, and take personal responsibility when one of my guest bloggers has posted inaccurate information.
That it has been nearly 48 hours since her post has been left to stand as is, with no correction, despite blatantly inaccurate information in it, is inexcusable at this point, since clearly both you and she are around to correct the error.
Am I too assume you are simply going to leave the blatantly inaccurate reporting to stand as is? Is this what you and Ms. Petri consider to be responsible, professional journalism at an important MSM outlet?
