Kate Middleton quits her job
Remember we said yesterday that Kate Middleton had been working for her parents? Michael and Carole Middleton own Party Pieces, a mail-order business that supplies cake kits, decorations and more for children's parties. But Kate's not working there anymore.
An unnamed "royal aide" has confirmed to the Daily Mail that Prince William's fiancee stepped down on Friday as a Web site designer and photographer to "concentrate full-time on preparing to become a member of the royal family."
Another unnamed aide was quoted as saying: "She has handed over her work to colleagues and is now preparing for her future life." The paper says that Kate is dividing her time between her parents' home in Berkshire, England, and Prince William's quarters in Anglesey, north Wales, near the Royal Air Force base where he is stationed as a search-and-rescue pilot.
