I just hope this wedding gown is nothing like Diana's. Diana's gown was poofy and, and I cannot think of a good word for it! It was for a child---nothing sophisticated and sheek at all. It was like a dress a child would play dress up in.

I think Diana's gown was the fashion of the time, and she was only 19 at the time so that might explain the younger style. It's nice to have the opportunity to design our ideas for Kate's gown. It may give some budding young creative minds a great way to develop their talent and some confidence. I'm looking forward to seeing this young pretty woman brighten the world with her smile on her wedding day.

J'aime beaucoup...

J'aime beaucoup
l'écorce d'un
arbre qui chante
dans la rime
d'un chêne infini,
j'aime la naturelle
voix qui rappelle
la jeunesse et
une douce émotion.

As I recall, Diana's dress was considered excessive at the time. Her taste improved, but the dress was awful.

Who cares about a royal wedding? There are uprisings across the globe intent on abolishing autocracies. Britain, which was last relevant about 100 years ago, is clinging to its monarchy like a dog holding to a bone. Future King William should go smoke dope w/ his brother Harry and marry this chick in a Vegas chapel.

I've always thought of Diane's dress as being a copy of the one the mice and birds made for Cinderella. I hated it.

Kate looks like a woman who is a bit of a no-nonsense type, so I'm sure her taste in a wedding dress needs no help from the likes of people like me.

Heck, I don't even wear dresses now that I've retired.

I prefer the minimalistic approach, so my dress design consists of me handing her three 2 inch strips of scotch tape and letting her apply them wherever she wants...
