Camilla Luddington cast as Kate Middleton

By Autumn Brewington

Production is to begin next week for Lifetime's movie about the romance of Prince William and Kate Middleton, with Nico Evers-Swindell cast as the prince.

His leading lady? Deadline Hollywood reports that British actress Camilla Luddington has been selected to play Kate. (She was not among the eight suggestions the Daily Beast offered this week.)

British actor Ben Cross is to portray Prince Charles.

The movie is expected to air before the April 29 royal wedding.
