Adobe Issues Mac Fixes
The company that makes the Adobe Reader and Abobe Acrobat (think .PDF files) software has issued a security update for Mac users.
Adobe Systems Inc. said Monday it is making available a new version of both programs for Mac OS X users, though its description of the problem was a bit vague. An advisory labeled "moderately critical" from Secunia said the Adobe programs "can be exploited by malicious people to execute arbitrary local programs on a user's system."
The updates are available at the links listed in the Adobe advisory.
