J.D. Salinger, mystery man in photos
Rarely seen so rarely photographed, J.D. Salinger didn't leave a lot of images of himself behind. Here are a few photos said to be of the writer.

The first and third photos are quite striking. The first, because it looks like Mr. Salinger is attempting to confront someone taking a picture of him from a car. The second because of the microphone. That's the last thing I'd expect to see in a photograph with him.
