Sen. Vitter's French Quarter "Friend" Bares Secrets
That day for Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) has come: the French Quarter prostitute who claims she had a relationship with the senator is appearing in the January issue of Hustler and telling (and baring) all.
"Senator David Vitter's Secret Lover Revealed," blares the headline.
In the article, Wendy Yow Ellis repeats much of what she already told the New Orleans Times-Picayune earlier this year after Vitter admitted he was once a customer of Pamela Martin & Associates, the escort service run by "D.C. Madame" Jean Palfrey. The three-page expose is, of course, accompanied by explicit nude photos of Ellis.
Ellis says, among other things we won't mention here, that Vitter took great care to keep their dalliance a secret from the other Wendy: his wife.
"It was a rule that I could not wear any perfume, body lotions, not even take a shower," Ellis said. "Because he did not want any scent on him whatsoever. He would always come in, hang his jacket on the door, go into the bathroom and take a shower. He would come out with a towel wrapped around him and sit down on the bed. We'd talk. And then he'd do his business."
Vitter will not address the allegations. His office did not respond to an e-mail request for comment.
But a spokesman for Vitter told the Times-Picayune that the senator is "completely focused" on legislation and "has already addressed all this."
