Sinbad Takes the High Road, Lets Hillary Be

We now declare the Sinbad v. Hillary case closed.

Sinbad, the comedian who lit up the Internet earlier this month in an exclusive interview with the Sleuth about his 1996 trip to Bosnia with then-first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, isn't fighting back against Clinton's dismissive remarks about him.

"I made my statement, and she made hers," Sinbad wrote to the Sleuth this week in an email marked as "sent from sinbad's iphone."

Clinton was asked this week to respond to Sinbad's much different recollection of the Bosnia trip, which the New York senator and Democratic presidential hopeful has described as harrowing. Sinbad told the Sleuth that the "scariest" part of the trip was worrying about whether "we eat here or at the next place."

On the campaign trail this week, Clinton defended her version of the story and dismissed Sinbad's account, saying, "Sinbad is a comedian." Clinton said she remembers "landing under sniper fire" and that "we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base."

But the first lady's personal schedule detailing that trip, which the Clinton campaign released along with scores of other records from the Clinton White House this week, included "no mention of security threats," according to the Wall Street Journal, which followed up on our original Sinbad posting.

The Sleuth applauds Sinbad for taking the high road on this one, though, of course, we secretly wish he had fired back with a couple of memorable one-liners.

While he declined to further ignite the Bosnia dispute with Clinton, Sinbad did at least get a big kick out of his tit-for-tat with the former first lady. "Ha ha! This has taken on a life of its own," Sinbad wrote to us in a final email sent from his iPhone.

Sinbad, who supports Barack Obama for president, also seemed to really like the race relations speech Obama gave this week in response to what has been dubbed Obama's "pastor disaster." The comedian indicated he thought the speech would propel Obama ahead of Clinton in the race for the Democratic nomination.

"After barack's last speech, bosnia is the least of her problems," Sinbad said.

That may be. But Rev. Wright is certainly not the least of Obama's problems.

Rev. Wright is probably the least of Obama's problems.
The picture of Pres. Clinton and Rev. Wright shaking hands shows that Rev. Wright is not a problem for the white house.

• Rev. Wright was able to get a security clearance to enter the white house and get close to the president.
• He prayed with ministers of different denominations and races.
• He had breakfast with ministers with different theologies.
• They prayed together for God's blessings on America

This morning Gov. Richardson showed that Rev. Wright is not a problem for
them.

• Gov. Richardson was able to cut through the media hype and hear the heart of Obama.
• The USA only Hispanic governor endorsed Senator Obama because he believes he is the right person to bring the country together

The interview with Sen. Obama on Larry King shows that Rev. Wright does not have a problem producing a productive, inclusive, transparent and giving church.

• Rev. Wright's denomination is about 99% white.
• White people are members of the church
• White members visit the church
• All races, bloggers, reporters, opponents and supporters are welcome

Based on all of this publicity, I assume the population of the church will increase rapidly with people from all races.

The woman is good at creating facts from fantasy. She really believes that, she, a comedian, a female guitar player and Chelsea all dodged rounds and mortar fire. She is about as self-delusional as Bush.

If Hilary considers Sinbad as only a comedian, why did she take him on a trip to Bosnia? On second thought I think the main reason Hillary wanted Sinbad was to use him as a human shield from the sniper fire. Sinbad is huge. There is more space on his body behind which both Hillary and Madeline Albright could hide at the same time under sniper fire. No wonder Chris Rock didn't get to go with Hillary on that trip. Hillary is too huge to hide behind Chris Rock. Now Madeline Albright will be left out taking sniper fires.

Both Hillary and Madeline Albright had told Sinbad that they will feed him food in the next stop. This was just a ploy to prevent him from running away from them when the sniper fire came. Even Sinbad can be made to 'work for food'.

In the 1990s when I attended college, one of the things I had to do as a class assignment was to check out the oath of Ethics of the discipline I wanted to major in. I wanted to become a journalist. I checked out the pledge and knew right away: The journalists I was aware of did not adhere to it. I did not want to be a member of the group. I changed my major.

Now this big blow-up with Obama's pastor has proved how right I was. Without listening fully to what he was saying, the press has taken a good man and just drug his name through the mud. Years and years of good works in the community have been ruined because of ignorant sensationalism. If you or any of your associates had listened to the full text, you would have known the truth.

Now we know why Hillary would not comment: She knew the truth. Now we kow why Obama could not remember hearing the sermon: He didn't recognize it because it had been sliced and diced and taken out of context. He didn't hear it because the message had effectively been changed.

All journalists and news services owe Reverend Wright a very profound and extremely public apology, at least one that is equal to the huge outcry last week.

When is that going to happen?

Posted by: Shzron1946 | March 22, 2008 4:12 AM | Report abuse

Rev. Wright returns from Africa to begin a long-scheduled series of visits to black churches across the country. (He'll be 35 miles from me for three days next week...I would like to go to hear and support him, and I'm just a "typical white person.")

I hope he minces no words in what will likely be sermons with a lot of media attention. He needs to demand an apology from Hannity, Limbaugh, ABC and Faux News. He needs to press that demand everywhere he goes and to clearly elucidate the justifiable reasons for the demand, perhaps by giving his listeners a brief history lesson on McCarthyism and then decrying the new "patriotic correctness." It may not be popular with the dimwits who have bought the neo-con slime machine's egregiously out-of-context claims of racism and hate-mongering, but it is the kind of political courage and truth-telling that is badly needed at this point in time.

I certainly can see how Hillary Clinton can be considered as "delusional"; she dismisses those who disagrees with her line of thinking or recollection of facts. To make matters more interesting, Bill Richardson's endorsement of Obama seems to bring out the worse of the Clintons' cadre. James Carville (the ragin' Cajun) likens the endorsement as Judas' betrayal for thirty pieces of silver (nytimes.com). Wow, does Carville have a messiah complex for Hillary or what? (I expect that to come from svreader, but not from a much more thoughtful James Carville.) Yeah, the Clintons and their camp are much more delusional than I could have envisioned.

What is it with the Clintons. I wonder which one taught who the art of having so little regard for the truth. Apparently Hillary thinks she can claim anything to enhance her non-existent resume in foreign policy and no one will find the truth.

So she went to Bosnia for eight hours one day in 1996. It wasn't enough to say she visited a war torn country. Nope, not for Hillary. She now remembers she was in mortal danger and under sniper fire. Of course, no one else remembers that. You can bet she will keep repeating the story till the "cows come home."

Hillary really needs help for her mental condition. Pennsylvania voters need to reject her in the primary so she will have the free time to seek and obtain mental help. After all she does have health insurance which includes coverage for mental disorders.

When will the media "out" Hillary Clinton's
lies, especially about her foreign experience, i.e., "bringing peace to Ireland"; arriving in Bosnia and "landing

be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the

simply not credible. Photographs and video of the arrival ceremony, combined with contemporaneous news reports, tell a very different story."

Hillary seems to have a problem with honesty. Is it the anything to win

After Obama showed himself to be a flipflopper ( I never heard anything controversial from Rev. Wright and If I did, i would have left the church on Anderson cooper to yesterday admitting that he had heard controversial remarks), a liar, a person who consistently lacks judgment by his close associations i.e Rev. Wright, Rezco, Weatherman etc, I can not in good conscience vote for him.

Add to the fact that he is not pushing for a revote in my state of Florida thereby disenfranchising my vote, there is no way on God's green earth that he will get my vote.
If the Dems want to go over the cliff with Obama, welcome President McCain. I'm in Florida and there is no way Latinos will go for the Democrats under Obama. He will lose OH, PA and MI and a Democrat nominee can't win without a combination of at least 2 of those states.
Good luck if anyone things that Obama will win SC, NC, Wyoming, AK in the Fall.

Rev. Wright is a bigot who preached hate and division from the pulpit. Obama has shown bad judgement and hypocrisy with his close association of Wright. He said of Imus that he would not go back to his church and that if he worked for him, he would have fired him.

Now, why doesn't Obama put his money where his mouth is......hm....

Rev Wright Supports Hamas, which supports using children, including new-born babies, as "human bombs"

From Reuters --

Embattled Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has experienced one of the most awful weeks in American political history. As I said here, you know it's bad when revealing extensive ties to Chicago political fixer Tony Rezko isn't the big news of the week. Clearly, the Pastor J-Wright scandal has temporarily sucked the oxygen out of the presidential campaigns. As bas as that seems, this article in WND adds another chapter to the Pastor J-Wright scandal. This headline says it all:

Obama Church Published Hamas Terror Manifesto

It gets worse from there:

The Hamas piece was published on the "Pastor's Page" of the Trinity United Church of Christ newsletter reserved for Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., whose anti-American, anti-Israel remarks landed Obama in hot water, prompting the presidential candidate to deliver a major race speech earlier this week.

Hamas, responsible for scores of shootings, suicide bombings and rocket launchings against civilian population centers, is listed as a terrorist group by the U.S. State Department.

That it was reprinted in Pastor J-Wright's newsletter calls into question how deep his hatred of Israel runs. Let's remember that this isn't something from 10 years ago. That op-ed ran last July. It's that much more troubling considering the fact that Pastor Wright accompanied Louis Farrakhan on a trip to Libya where he met Col. Qhadhaffi.

I'll take Sen. Obama at his word when he says that Pastor Wright has been his mentor. That's troubling because Pastor Wright's thinking towards Israel is far outside mainstream evangelical Christian thinking. Let's set that aside temporarily for the sake of this discussion. Let's pretend that evangelical Christians didn't take a position on Israel. Instead, let's think about this from a State Department standpoint. It seems like Hamas has been on the State Department's list of known terrorists forever.

That brings me to this question: What impact has Pastor J-Wright's views on Israel had on Sen. Obama? Sen. Obama says that he hasn't talked politics with Pastor J-Wright but, prior to this week, he insisted that he hadn't heard any of Pastor J-Wright's inflammatory sermons, too.

Suffice it to say that this story eliminates the possibility of the Obama-J-Wright controversy going away anytime soon.

WOW!!! You Obama fans are so ready to believe anything espicially if it is negative against Senator Clinton. Sinbad had no further response other than to make his initial comment. Doesn't that strike you as odd if his recollection was so different? He is an Obama supporter, did anyone think his recollection would do anything to benefit Senator Clinton?

According to Hillary she was in the midst of sniper fire in Bosnia. Now we all know that the state department was under Bill Clinton's watch when he sent Hillary to the location of sniper fire. It is also interesting to note that during that time Monica was siting under the table or hiding in the bathroom of the oval office. Now is it a coincidence? Did Bill have an ulterior motive to ask Hillary to go to Bosnia at that time?

If the state department is that foolish to send Hillary in a place with sniper fire, either Bill planned it like that or we had a few stupid people running the state department for Bill Clinton.

Mindy, thank you for your post. Clinton cannot explain this one away and the media will not be reporting on this until the GE. They'd rather save it for a swiftboating spectacle. Also, the more we learn about Wright and his connection to the White House (Bill Clinton and Lyndon B. Johnson) and hear his words in context, the more we realize how the media has distorted the remarks (although they most definitely could have been said in a better, less inflammatory way). For those of you that believed the lie that Obama was a Muslim, I challenge you to start thinking for yourselves now that you have found out that he's been a Christian all these years. Don't believe media spin. Do your own research, my fellow Americans.

When Hillary was asked about Obama's speech on race relations, she shrugged it off and said she was going to give a speech on gender equality. First her camp goes after Obama's middle name. Then she uses her surrogates to spread rumor's that he is a muslim. Then when that didn't stick, Hillary went after his pastor, the same pastor who had given sermons to the Clinton's in the white house. How low can a candidate go. Hillary is eating dirt as she tries to drag Obama into the mud.

It would have been very difficult for Bill Richardson to finally stand up for what he thinks was right. The Clintons have put such a strong chokehold on many of the democratic superdelegates that they are afraid they will be forced to break their friendship with the Clintons if they endorse Obama.

For you Obama followers - Obama is standing on so much dust that he could easily be taken down in a general election. Both he and Rezko have a dirty exchange of property, but this is the very dust that I am speaking about. Also, could it be that he stays with the Rev Wright because he agrees with the Revs exchanges

I understand how easy it is for you to defend him. I defend Hillary in the same way. The difference is that Hillary knows that she is a politician and does what has to be done to get things done. She does it for you. He says what he says because he really believes he is the great one. He does it for himself.

One thing that he is very good at is making you see what you want to see. He is indeed a very good politician (not a good public servant).

The latest story about Hillary Clinton's stretching the truth about her "35 years of experience" is yet another example of how she has more ambition than the skills necessary to repair the damage of the Bush regime.

The American people are fed up with liars and that is why they are voting against Hillary Clinton. Her only big wins in the primary votes to date have occurred because of cross-over voting by the Repugns who desperately want her to be the candidate in 2008. The GOP has a mountain of ammunition to throw at Hillary and they are chomping at the bit to do so!

There is no doubt that the Repugns slime machine will attempt to make the Pastor mess into a controversy as a part of the general election. However, the Repugns do so at their peril because they have more nut case ministers supporting than immoral agenda and that makes them vulnerable to a landslide defeat in November.

Today from the Washington Post Factchecker:

As has now been conclusively established by video film and news photographs, Hillary Clinton did NOT come under sniper fire in Bosnia in March 1996 when she made a morale-boosting visit to U.S. troops enforcing the 1995 Dayton Peace Agreement. But she is dodging plenty of bullets for her over-dramatic accounts of the trip.

Last week was not the first time that Clinton talked about sniper fire in Bosnia. She has provided various different versions of the incident along the campaign trail and in her autobiography, Living History. See, for example, this New York Times account of a campaign rally in Waco, Tex., on February 29, at which Clinton said that the welcoming ceremony had to be "moved inside" a Tuzla airport building "because of sniper fire." She made a similar statement in Dubuque, Iowa, back in December.

After my post last week examining Clinton's claims, I received messages and calls from several readers, providing very different accounts of the scene at Tuzla Air Force base that dank March morning. U.S. Air Force journalist Don Jackson was standing on the back of a flatbed pick-up truck filming the event when Clinton's plane touched down. Here is his account:

Mrs. Clinton arrived to a flight line full of well-wishers, both military and civilian, accompanied by her staff as well as comedian Sinbad and singer Sheryl Crow who were there to entertain troops. To set the record straight, there was no enemy fire, and no imminent danger. If there had been any danger, "well-wishers" would not have been allowed on the tarmac, much less allowing me to stand above everyone else on the back of a truck. And Sinbad and Sheryl Crow would've been running for their lives instead of taking the time to be interviewed by yours truly, on the tarmac. Mrs. Clinton's [claim] is a lie, plain and simple.
UPDATE Monday 2:15 P.M.

CBS News has now posted the full version of the truncated report by correspondent Sharyl Attkisson about the arrival ceremony in Tuzla that has been circulating on YouTube. You can see it below.

In a blog posting here, Attkisson shares her memories about the trip. She recalls that the pilots made a steep, very fast descent into Tuzla "to minimize exposure to hostile fire on the ground," but adds that there were "no known incidents of enemy fire on our aircraft." (This kind of landing is not the same as the "corkscrew landing" described by Clinton in some of her speeches. You can see an example of a corkscrew landing here.) Attkisson adds:

The mood upon first landing at the Tuzla airport was light. Children were there on the tarmac to greet the first lady, Chelsea was by her side, Bosnian dignitaries had gathered: It felt safe...To be sure, it was not the "safest" trip for a First Lady to take: there were serious risks in traveling to Bosnia, even for the President's wife under the vigilant protection of the U.S. military. It took some guts for her to go. But I don't recall, and did not note, any close calls on this trip with sniper fire or any other dangers.
Video clips of a smiling Clinton walking across the tarmac, and bending down to greet an eight-year-old Bosnian girl, are proliferating on YouTube. In some cases, the images have been juxtaposed with her harrowing account about running for cover "with our heads down." Sometimes, in politics, it is the trivial mistakes rather than the major policy blunders that can trip you up.

Hllary's whole campaign is a joke from the beginning. She is not a commander in chief yet. But she is already telling 'war stories'. Her picture kneeling next to a seven year old girl at the Bosnia airport shows how she dodged the sniper bullets by using that kid as a human shield. While Hillary was in Bosnia the only thing that was shooting was Bubba shooting semen into Monica's mouth. What a bunch of liars the Clintons are. They put this country through some tough times with Bubba's skirt chasing escapades in the white house. Now his wife is telling us war stories. Give us a break. Let us ship the Clinton's to the Caymen islands where they stash their money to keep away from the taxman. Let them not hurt the future of the American people any more.

Hillary did not lie. She can clearly be seen on the video making a harrowing escape from the plane. The so-called greeting ceremony with a supposed little girl was nothing of the kind: that was not a little girl reading a poem, it was a very short bodyguard holding up sheets of kevlar to protect Clinton from shrapnel and acting as a human shield. Great disguise! Clever, those Bosnians...

She did not lie about Ireland either. She went there and met with people and they later had peace, what more do you want?

She did not lie about NAFTA either. She strenuously opposed it. All of those women who said otherwise are obviously a bunch of pro-Obama shills.

Plus, she has experience which has proved valuable in making key, tough decisions. See how her experience allowed her to make a tough decision with conviction:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=hwLaCb07lAs

After you watch that, you will see that she is in a class by herself.

Hillary can not tell the difference between truth and lies. She did not misspeak, she told the same lies about the sniper fire with eyes wide open and a bright smile, in public, on over a dozen recorded occasions. This story is one of her claims to her experience making her ready to be commander-in-chief from day one. The 3 a.m. red phone call will lead to disaster for the nation when Hillary, as President, answering it cannot tell the difference between fact and self-engrandizing fantasy. As President, Hillary will lie every day to the American people, just as Bill lied under oath with his hand on the Bible. If she cannot tell the difference between sniper fire and a welcoming poem, can we trust her with our national security? Where is her judgment?

STOP IT!
What these blogs clearly show is that if you are a supporter of one or the other it will be tough to change your minds.
I do not know what is worse, the "hate" speech (disturbing because it's personal) from the Clinton supporters or the "liar"
speech from Obama supporters. I'd have to go with the bigot "hate" speecher's. EXAMPLE -
"-1- If someone - and apparently the not-ready-for-primetime Obama staff does - thinks a photo op at the White House is equivalent to going to a Church for 22 years and calling someone "like a Member of the family", then they are going to lead the Democratic Party to a disaster in November. (????)
-2- I am Jewish. This "Minister", and to be blunt, Obama's supporters on CNN, keeping supporting "Black Liberation Theology" which repeatedly says AGAINST ALL COMMONSENSE, HISTORICAL EVIDENCE, and PHYSICAL EVIDENCE, that Jesus was Black and NOT a JEW! Now what could be both MORE ANTI-SEMITIC and MORE IGNORANT! I only voted for maybe two Republicans in my fifty years of voting, but, if Barack Hussein Obama Jr is the candidate, COUNT ME OUT!"
One has to wonder what that poor soul is smoking! Does he or she take offense at Mr. Obama for CNN's views or for that matter the Pastor Wrights? (I certainly to do take responsibility for all my Pastor's views and NEVER take responsibility for what CNN reports as opinion masked as news.) WHO is he or she to dismiss "Black Liberation Theology" - does he or she have direct knowledge of it? I go on to wonder about this person's experience with common sence, historical and physical evidence? Does that mean that it's common knowledge Jesus, a Jew, wasn't black and can be backed up with both written and physcial evidence? I know that is simply not true...the evidence is no where near that statement. These "truth's" are based soley on what he or she has been taught as seen in this last remark "Barack Hussein Obama Jr....count me out!" The bigotry is so evident no words need explain it. Who knows if Jesus was white or black? What a dumb thing for anyone to be berating Mr. Obama for. MR. OBAMA IS NOT PASTOR WRIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!! This discussion is meant to stear us away from the facts and world we live in now!
ALL this garbage is bad for whomever receives the nomination and it's playing right into the hands of those that fed it down your throats! Mr. McCain is skating right now dispite the fact that his gaffs and goofs during this many years in office dwarf anything that is being written about here...do your research, find out! Turn the tables people! Polluting the bloggosphere with hate and lies berates us all as human beings, stop it. IDEA'S are what we need.
One of them is going to be the canidate and the big picture HAS TO BE GET RID OF THE REPULICANS NOW IN SERVICE INCLUDING MR. McCAIN.
I personally salute Mr. McCain for what he has accomplished in his life but I do not trust his judgement nor do I trust his affiliates and needs to court the conservative vote..(FAR WORSE THAT PASTER WRIGHT!)it's a disaster!
Please, come together on this and get a life - STOP WATCHING THE CRAP THAT IS FED DOWN YOUR THROAT AND READ DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES..the media has long forgotten journalism and to trust any of the garbage coming from any network is a mistake.
Average people talk about things, INTELLIGENT PEOPLE TALK ABOUT IDEA'S, small people talk about each other.
WE NEED TO BE INTELLIGENT PEOPLE.

I remember some actor, exiting a jet that landed on an aircraft carrier in full Battle Dress Uniform, just back from a mission over Iraq?, with a large Mission Accomplished sign in the background....maybe she was acting too?

Sinbad should actually be THANKING Hillary for all the
attention he is getting. Hopefully, this will revive his career.

What a L-O-S-E-R Hillary is! She actually thinks she can dismiss Sinbad's comments as "he's a comedian". What, he isn't a meaningful person. Consider the fact that he was at the same place and at the same time as Hillary was. Why is it that he doesn't remember being under fire? If anyone was under fire it was "only" her.

Hillary Clinton is one BIG FAT LIAR!!! She will embellish any story to make herself look good. Is it not a fact that she "embellished" the story about her being involved in the PEACE process in Ireland? This was clearly addressed by the key people in the meeting. All of them stated that her involvement was, if anything, ceremonial. She had no involvement as to the issues discussed.

This loser will never learn. But soon enough we will all rejoice in her defeat!

Hillary is a liar and the broadcast media are losers. Unlike the print media and blogs that gave Sinbad his due for exposing the lie, CBS, NBC, CNN, and ABC refused to acknowledge the man.

Instead, they touted their great journalistic ability. Give me a break, Hillary has been repeating this lie over and over again (pre-Iowa caucus). Nobody in the broadcast media who had the tapes of the trip ever bothered to review the tapes to confirm her version. They couldn't even do it after Sinbad exposed her a few weeks ago. Instead, they just called Sinbad a comedian or b list actor and dismissed him.

I give the broadcast media an F on their reporting. I give Sinbad an "A+"

and we're left with this question - do we want a racist or a compulsive liar for president, or do we want both?

Sinbad is no more than a oversized clown. Most people have memories that are mental perspectives rather than totally factual accounts . Tall tales are told by some of the best people , like when Reagan was talking about when he was the coach at Notre Dame. But he was a bit senile and delusional at that time. How come Obama has no Stories to tell? He hasn't done anything yet worth talking about. He is in denial about his heritage, don't call me Husein. Denial about his religeous doctrines, No mention that his father and grandfathers were if fact practicioners of the muslim faith , or that his mentor and speaking idol is a racist , anti-American , bigot.Obama speaks like he is better than everyone else and we just have to believe that he will save us all because all he has to do is speak to all who don't understand what he knows and they will just follow his lead to Utopia. Wake UP America. This is not American Idol. This is the future of the USA.

AMERICAN WORKER.....What the heck did Sinbad ever do to you. He is a mere human being just as you, after all you were not there and he was, why do you have to slam the guy. He just told his side of the story and he did not attack Hillary matter of fact he has let it go.. another thing i voted for Hillary cause I have always respected her for the work she has done, i could care less what her middle name is as i could care less what Barak's middle name is. What now we cannot choose people because of their names, you are truly not thinking clearly remember free speech this is still (for now) a free county, the home of the brave be tell it with this adm, we are the home of the scardy cats, hell i thought we were the MARINES. Going after someone's pastor is futile, those PASTORS are not GOD OR JESUS, they all have their own opinions heck half the time people don't even pay attention to what they say, they can hardly stay awake, so now that i have continued to watch this election unfold with Hillary lowering her standards down to the ROVEIAN tactics, I will vote for her if she wins the nomination but I'm really Hoping and Praying for OBAMA...08

Hillary Clinton, when she was "helping to bring peace to Northern Ireland" chipped off a piece of the Blarney Stone to be used in the future. Then on St. Patrick Day 2008 with shamrocks draped around her neck she kissed the Blarney Stone before her rally, and then told the tale of what happened on her Bosnia Trip.

The Blarney Stone is a block of blue stone built into the battlements of Blarney Castle, Blarney about 8 km from Cork, Ireland. According to legend, kissing the stone endows the kisser with the gift of gab (great eloquence or skill at flattery). The stone was set into a tower of the castle in 1446. The castle is a popular tourist site in Ireland, attracting visitors from all over the world to kiss the Stone and tour the castle and its charming gardens.

The word blarney has come to mean clever, flattering, or coaxing talk.

The Wright issue is not really about what this man said. It is about what barack Obama does. It is about actions.

Barack Obama called for the firing of Don Imus after Imus made racial comments. Barack Obama did not take into account all of Imus's good works when he said he should be fired.

But now that it is his pastor? Suddenly we are supposed to look also at all the good he has done? If so, then why didn't Obama also look at all the good Imus has done? That is called a double standard.

Obama now says that if his pastor had not retired, he would have left the church. Why now? He has sat in that church for 20 years, why would he now leave it if the pastor did was not retiring?

Maybe a little thing like now he is running for president? So to get peoples vote for him, he will stop listening to hate speech; but for the the past 20 years it has been OK?

He said had he heard the hateful speech he would have confronted his pastor. I think he wants us to let this all go away because the pastor retired. But the church congregation that appluaded this mans words is still there, Obama is still with them.

Has he confronted them? These people were applauding this man saying America brought on the 911 attacks and all the other hate speech; has Barack Obama confronted them?

The WashigntonPost Fact Checker
Obama CAUGHT LYING about Kennedys' Role in Helping His Father
Contrary to Obama's claims in speeches in January at American University and in Selma last year, the Kennedy family did not provide the funding for a September 1959 airlift of 81 Kenyan students to the United States that included Obama's father. According to historical records and interviews with participants, the Kennedys were approached for support for the program a year later, July 1960. family responded with a $100,000 donation, which went to pay for a second airlift in September 1960.

Democrates NEED Clinton to stay in the race. OBAMA IS UNELECTABLE IN GENERAL ELECTION. "Obama marched with Farrakhan"Obama's Pastor Slurs Italians in Latest Magazine (CNSNews.com) Wright continues his Obama supported attacks on non-blacks now slurring Italians in issue of Trumpet Newsmag. Wright states, Jesus enemies had their opinion, Italians looked down their garlic noses at the Galileans, and Jesus death on a cross was a public lynching Italian style! This government runs everything from the White House to the schoolhouse, from the Capitol to the KKKlan of white supremacy who is clearly in charge. Every issue published Wright's rant against white people in which he covers a world that is controlled by white supremacy, a country that's on its way to hell in a hand basket because of lying politicians, in a culture that still thinks 'white is right! He said young African-American Christians are more concerned about 'bling bling' than about freeing their minds and still Obama says I could no more disown him than I could disown the black community. According to his federal income tax return for 2006, Obama gave the Trinity United church $22,500 in contributions. Trumpet Newsmagazine started 80s, Wright is CEO and Wright's daughter, Jeri Wright, is the publisher. Requests for comments Obama camp of course not answered. Trumpet Nov/Dec edition, featured Louis Farrakhan, recipient of the Lifetime Achievement "Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. Trumpeter" award. Farrakhan has called Judaism a "gutter religion" and said Jews are "bloodsuckers. Many of the biased cable news pundits try to make viewers believe Obama's speech limited damage of Wright controversy, but the general election will show voters strongly disagree, especially non-black voters. Obama refuses to explain to the public why he would have someone as such a close spiritual advisor and mentor and why he would expose two young daughters to such hatefulness against fellow Americans. The problem Wright's comments are not theological views, but political statements. This is a serious issue for Obama in general election. As with each new utterance on the topic of Reverend Wright, Barack Obama confirms his own moral obliviousness and he seems to have disdain for those who are troubled by his own unwillingness to break with Wright, even worse Obama still insists Wright is a brilliant man, So brilliant, apparently, that he has uncovered the plot by white America to kill African Americans, so insightful to perceive the 9/11 attacks caused by American terrorism and his discerning observation Israel is a "dirty" word, and still in Obama's eyes, Wright is brilliant. This, we are told by biased cable news pundits like CNN Obamaphiles, is not supposed to affect voters' view of Obama's judgment. Perhaps voters are embarrassed to tell pollsters they are privately offended. General election Republicans as well as independents and demorcrates are irked by this moral obtuseness even though media like CNN or Hardball cover it up with bogus Clinton attacks.
