Resources for Entrepreneurs

The National Business Incubation Association wants to pass along two new resources for entrepreneurs:

For businesses looking to gain a foothold into foreign markets, peruse market research on ExportNavigator. The Web site is offered by the Federation of International Trade Associations, which says that the 10,000 market surveys on the site are reliable, open to the public and no more than two years old.

Meanwhile, the Kauffman Innovation Network is offering the iBridge Network, an online searchable database with the lat news in research, technologies and findings at U.S. universities. The database was launched early this year. It enables universities to gain exposure for their research, allows industry leaders to examine what universities are doing and entrepreneurs can examine research that might inspire startups. The database, which currently lists about 700 innovations, also offers purchasing and licensing agreements.
