SBA Hosts Live Web Chat

The Small Business Administration is hosting a Web chat on how to do business with the federal government.

Fay Ott, associate administrator for government contracting and business development, will host the chat today from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Ott will answer questions from chat participants on how small businesses can gain access to the $400 billion federal marketplace, how to navigate the marketplace, understand the procurement process and register their small business profile in the Central Contractor Registration database.

SCORE Offers Free Workbooks

SCORE, a group of seasoned business executives who counsel small firms, is offering two free workbooks to the first 1,000 people to sign up for them.
