The Roses of Success
While watching the classic film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang recently, I realized that small business owners and struggling entrepreneurs may get inspired, or at least get a kick out of, the ditty "The Roses of Success." It pays homage to failure and the struggle of entrepreneurship, Chitty Chitty Bang Bangy-style.
In this particular scene, a handful of inventors were imprisoned by an evil baron until they could create a flying car -- and seriously, who hasn't had those kind of days? The newest kidnapped inventor that was thrown in the laboratory/dungeon was treated to a song and dance number by the other penned-up inventors, now a bit long in the tooth and hair.
So please, in the holiday spirit, and on your lunch hour of course, enjoy this video from a classic.
