At 8:30 a.m., it is 17 degrees. Wind chill brings it down to 6. Yes, 6.

Are you ready for some futbol???

Why not...

United opens training camp at RFK Stadium's practice fields this morning, although the chill may prompt them to push it back an hour or two to allow the temperature to rise to, say, 24.

United will be in the cold all week, but a week from now, they'll be training in Bradenton, Fla.

I'm heading down to RFK and will provide an update here late this afternoon or early this evening. In the meantime, please check out my camp preview story on our Web site and feel free to comment back here.
