Fred and Brian

A quick update:

Fred has arrived from Latin America and will be at RFK tonight with his representatives to watch United's match against Chivas. MLS/DCU and the Aussie officials held a conference call last night, but no resolution yet on the international transfer certificate. Just a hunch, but seems likely he'll be eligible in time for the second leg.

As you might have noticed on the previous posting, Brian Carroll was among 11 MLS players called into U.S. national team camp for the upcoming friendlies. He will rejoin United in Guadalajara March 29 or 30 -- plenty of time to get reacquainted before the second leg against Chivas.
