Deuce Delivers

Fulham is going to stay up in the Premiership, thanks in part to Texas lad Clint Dempsey.

Check out his goal to beat Liverpool on Saturday and a flasback to his 2006 rap video. (The goal is much better than the rapping.)

I loved the banner at the DCU/Revs playoff match last year... "Ice Ice Dempsey"

Fulham should be relegated for allowing those stupid Thundersticks to be used in their stadium.

Fulham isn't safe just yet. They need a Charlton loss or draw this afternoon to be sure.

Go Spurs!

It's comforting to see that Dempsey is playing under the new manager.

For Fulham to be relagated, they have to lose ar Boro, Charlton has to win out (Spurs and @ L'pool), Sheffield U has to beat Wigan, and Wast Ham has to win @ Man U. Sheffield and West Ham are behind Fulham on goal diff., so draws won't help them.

So, as we say in America, Fulham is not yet mathematically eliminated from relegation.

Yes, I have too much time on my hands this morning.

Good for Dempsey. The Nats need him to be successful in England. He is a critical player to the WC2010 campaign.

Come on Steve,

I'd say Deuce Dempsey is one of the better athlete/rappers out there? Who's beter? No Shaq and certainly no Tennis player "ain't afraid of ya" Vince Spadea.

Sweet 1-2 goal from Dempsey. I had to watch it a few times to see that he set up that gool with his pass and kept the run to finish.

So happy to see Dempsey get a taste of success in England. Even though he was a Rev, he is still one of our real Americans! It gets me fired up for a big summer of American soccer.

My player rating on that rap is a decisive 1. -- "1) Totally awful, had a mare, should be taken out and shot"

He sure is fun to watch...when he plays over there:) Fulham is safe guys and hopefully Clint will be a sure starter next season.

Actually he's quite a credible rapper. As good as most of the mainstream crap out there at least. Give him a 6. Points taken off for co-opting ebonics.

It barely managed to look more hard core than the Commodores:
