Euro Fluff

Package arrived yesterday from BBC America with a press release and a stack of DVDs. Yes! The fifth and final season of "Footballers Wives" is upon us!

As part of the station's self-proclaimed "Wicked Wednesday" starting June 6, "Two legendary divas of television soap, Zoe Lucker and Joan Collins, face off in the ultimate catfight showdown as the sexiest, sassiest drama on TV returns."

Inside Soap calls it "the cattiest ever series!"
Entertainment Weekly gushes: "Delightfully dishy!"
San Jose Mercury News says it is "Desperate Housewives on steroids!"

June 6 can't arrive soon enough.

Okay, onto the Milan-Man U demolition highlights backed by a soothing techno-pop soundtrack.....

Great highlights.

That music reminds me of the highlights music in the Winning Eleven soccer video games.

Man U looked awful, might as well have been DC United--poor defense, laughable actually, easy giveaways in the middle and nothing in the final third.

I look for AC Milan to get on top of Liverpool early and stay there---I'll choke on my wheaties if they lose it like last time.

I think that is a remix of an Everything But The Girl tune
