Gros Sidelined
D.C. United midfielder Josh Gros, who suffered yet another concussion early in Saturday's match at Columbus, will not be in uniform for Wednesday's game against the New York Red Bulls at RFK Stadium, a club official confirmed.
I will provide additional details as they become available, probably after Tuesday morning's training session and media availability.
Gros, who missed time this past spring after suffering a concussion in a Champions Cup game at Chivas (Mexico), was hit in the temple with the ball in the Columbus match and was replaced shortly thereafter. He had blurred vision and got sick in the locker room.
"As soon as it happened, I knew something was wrong," he said after the game.
