Nowak Is Official
As we reported here a few days ago, Peter Nowak is now the U.S. under-23 national team coach and will begin preparing the squad for Olympic qualifying early next year. The official announcement was made today.
It's a good choice, in my opinion. Already a national team assistant, he will work closely with Bob Bradley to develop the player pool for the Olympics and beyond. There is that matter, though, of his relationship with Freddy Adu, who hopes to play a significant role on the squad after performing well for the u-20s this summer.
Good move?
