Matchday 28: DCU at KC [Updated]

Gomez's shoes tonight.
UPDATE: Bad news. Josh Gros experienced blurred vision and headaches during the Chivas game and is back in D.C. We'll try to get more on this as soon as we can. In the meantime, get well soon to Josh.
His absence, in addition to Fred's, leads to a lineup not many of you would have guessed:
GK Perkins; Ds Namoff, Boswell, Vanney, Burch; MFs Olsen, Carroll, Simms, McTavish; Fs Emilio, Gomez. Simms as playmaker? Maybe we'll get to see a few more of those long-distance blasts.
Bench: Nolly, deRoux, Moose, Mediate, Dyachenko, Kpene, Moreno.
Moreno doesn't appear to be limping, which I guess is the good news.
This has been posted a few times in comments, but just so we're clear, if you need help finding CSN+ in your zip code please follow this link and look in the top right.
Wash Post preview, with tales of Benny and Devon McTavish being spit upon in Mexico. KC Star preview. And also, KC players giving away thousands of tickets to youngsters.
I would attempt to go over extensive playoff seeding scenarios, but here's the Namoff quote: "All we need to know is there's three games left and we need three wins. The rest will take care of itself." So I'll wait until tomorrow for that.
Pre-match, in-match, and post-match comments here. Bonus quotes to follow later tonight. This will be your last D.C. game of the season without the expert Goff ratings.
