Are they the deserving winners? I think so. With all due respect to Tom Soehn, Preki and Chivas were picked to finish third or fourth in the West; they finished first. Edu, despite playing for a weak expansion club, showed the maturity of a veteran and parlayed it into a U.S. national team call-up.
