Morning Kickaround

*With just eight days until Champions' Cup play begins, D.C. United is trying to get its diverse act together.

*The Texas Pro Soccer Festival begins tomorrow in San Antonio, featuring DCU, Houston, Chivas USA and Toronto in preseason friendlies. Each club will play three matches over five days.

*Still awaiting final word on Claudio Lopez's talks with Kansas City. Yawn.

*MLS waiver draft at 3 p.m. (ET) today. Double yawn. Rusty Pierce, anyone?

*Euro Champions League today, quarterfinal second legs, 2:45 p.m. (ET):
-- Arsenal at AC Milan (0-0 first leg)
ESPN2 (live)
-- Fenerbahce at Sevilla (3-2 first leg)
ESPN Deportes (2 a.m., taped)
-- Lyon at Manchester United (1-1 first leg)
ESPN Deportes (4:30, taped)
-- Celtic at Barcelona (2-3 first leg)
ESPN Deportes (live), ESPN Classic (5, taped)

*You are accustomed to seeing injury reports that look like this: NEW YORK: MF Claudio Reyna (hamstring), questionable. But how about this: READING: Emerse Fae (malaria), out. Yikes. Read about it here.

To lighten the mood and get you ready for Champions League, how about another corny installment of Barca Toons?
