Greetings from Nashville.

Honduras-Guatemala, 6 p.m. ET (Fox Soccer Channel, ESPN Deportes)
USA-Canada, 9 p.m. ET (FSC, ESPND)
Winners go to China.
There has been a lot of buzz on the silly Internet machine the last few days that Benny Feilhaber was not included on the U.S. roster because of a scuffle with teammate Freddy Adu during a closed-door, intrasquad scrimmage in Bradenton. My understanding is that the situation was terribly exaggerated and, as often happens in our rumor-must-surely-be-fact world, a myth was born. Feilhaber's fitness and form -- physical and mental -- were the reasons for the omission.
With that settled.....
*Don't expect a U.S. national team roster for Wednesday's friendly at Poland until this weekend. Almost the entire squad, which will include 18 to 20 players, will come from European-based clubs.
*The USA women will play two friendlies against Australia: April 27 in Cary, N.C., and May 3 in Birmingham (Cat Whitehill's home town).
USA LINEUP: Seitz; Wynne, Orozco, Spector, Sturgis; Holden, Edu, McCarty, Kljestan; Adu, Altidore. Subs: Cervi, Ianni, Zizzo, Davies, Freeman, Finley, Gaven. Not in uniform: Barrett, Hill.
