USA Roster in Poland

The 18-man USA roster for Wednesday's friendly against Poland in Krakow (3:30 p.m. ET, Fox Soccer Channel) is set. The match falls on an international fixture date, so technically everyone is available, but because the MLS season starts this week and some clubs wanted their U.S. u-23s back after a long absence (i.e. Adu, Altidore, Davies, etc.), Bob Bradley will lean heavily on his European-based veterans. Cory Gibbs is back. So is Benny Feilhaber, once again dispelling the nonsense spread by TV jesters that he had jeopardized his future during under-23 camp.

The complete list:

GKs: Marcus Hahnemann (Reading FC), Tim Howard (Everton FC).

Ds: Carlos Bocanegra (Fulham FC), Steve Cherundolo (Hannover 96), Jay DeMerit (Watford FC), Cory Gibbs (Charlton Athletic), Oguchi Onyewu (Standard Liege), Heath Pearce (Hansa Rostock), Jonathan Spector (West Ham United).

MFs: Michael Bradley (SC Heerenveen), Ricardo Clark (Houston Dynamo), Landon Donovan (Los Angeles Galaxy), Benny Feilhaber (Derby County), Eddie Lewis (Derby County).

Fs: Brian Ching (Houston Dynamo), Clint Dempsey (Fulham FC), Eddie Johnson (Fulham FC), Josh Wolff (1860 Munich).

Whatcha think? While you are composing your thoughts, watch the highlights from the U.S. Olympic qualifying victory over Canada the other day. (We are going to mostly ignore today's 1-0 overtime loss to Honduras since the match meant absolutely nothing.)
