Marcelo Gallardo's one-time smash from a tight angle against RSL. He received 52 percent of the vote. Amado Guevara's 25-yard free kick was second with 39 percent.

MLS received three times more votes this week than last week, much of it apparently through clever electronic means -- the modern version of stuffing the ballot box -- by both groups of supporters. (I don't understand the technical language, sorry.) However, the league does not plan to change the voting procedure.
